The 2016 ASHRAE Winter Conference this year will feature a new course developed after the newest Legionella legislation was passed in 2015.  The course, entitled “ASHRAE Standard 188-2015—Successfully Managing the Risk of Legionellosis” will focus on helping attendees understand how to use and comply with the standard in their industries as well as tips for making a management plan.

Next door to the ASHRAE conference, the AHR Expo will also highlight four sessions on design build.  AHR and ASHRAE are teaming to make these classes available to the ASHRAE conference as an introduction to a new design-build Track.  Contractors and Engineers will have exposure to sessions about avoiding pitfalls that may arise in Design-Build projects, who and when design-build scenarios work the best, and how Engineers and Contractors affect each other’s roles.

Between the over 20 courses at the ASHRAE Winter Conference and over 100 sessions offered at the AHR Expo from January 24-27, 2016 there is a packed itinerary for experiencing new areas of growth, networking with others from your industry, and expanding your knowledge.  For more information and to register for this conference visit https://www.ashrae.org/membership--conferences/conferences/2016-ashrae-winter-conference.
