Spray Foam Insulation Seminar To Be Held in Chicago February 10th and 11th

February 6, 2014- The Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters and Icynene is sponsoring at Spray Foam Insulation Seminar on February 10th and 11th that will cover how spray foam insulation helps create more energy-efficient buildings. The seminar will offer details on how to use spray foam in both commercial and residential designs. Participants will learn about:

  • The latest in polyurethane spray foam
  • Applications techniques and safety procedures for spray foam
  • Trade coordination and scheduling when utilizing spray foam in a wall assembly
  • Air barriers and spray foam
  • Wall assembly, building science and code compliance
  • What is new with energy compliance and code enforcement in Chicago

Monday, February 10th at: Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters Apprentice & Training Center, 2121 S. Union Street, Chicago, Ill.

Tuesday, February 11th at: Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters Apprentice & Training Center, 1256 Estes Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Ill.

Nolan Day, the Director of Marketing and Sales at Carnow Conibear, will be at both seminars to field any questions about the hazards of toxic fumes in the event of a fire and for respiratory protection during application.
