Carnow Conibear to Participate in DMEC Meeting

October 24, 2012 - Human resources professionals looking for information or help with complicated cases can join in a roundtable discussion at the next DMEC (Disability Management Employer Coalition) Chicago Chapter meeting, which will be held at Maggiano’s in Oak Brook on Nov. 14.

Jeanne Boysen, SPHR, Vice President, Human Resources at Carnow, Conibear & Assoc. and The OMS, will be participating with the perspective of an employer in the presentation: “Complicated Case: What Should you Do?”

The session will address how to approach difficult FMLA, Leave-of-Absence and Workers Comp cases. It will focus on the importance of having a strategy and identifying when, and if, outside resources are needed. A panel of legal, claims, employer and HR professionals will provide insights on how to address these situations.

Attendees will be able to discuss difficult cases or questions and join in the roundtable discussion. The cost is $35 for DMEC members and $45 for nonmembers.
